FPGA-forum 2014 summary and feedback

FPGA-forum is a 2-day seminar and exhibition . At this yearly event a major number of senior designers and decision makers in the Norwegian embedded industry gather to share their experience, learn about new technology and methodology, and socialise and build their professional network.

There were a total of 122 participants at this year's event.
Here is the most important statistiscs and feedback from the participants (43 answers):

  • 29% participated for the first time at this event

  • Best rated presentation: ‘Reset (og andre myter)’, by Rune Bæverud, Thales

  • “FPGA-forum has established a good base of participants, and is also actively including new designers. This is a good place to meet for the FPGA-community’

  • “Unfortunately some problems with the hotel reservations, but they got sorted out well”

  • “The workshops was a very good idea that made the trip more interesting”

  • “The presentations were technical and less product/marketing oriented, which is very good for us technical guys”
